Wesley J. Moser, 67, Miller, Watchman, was Wounded War Veteran
Wesley Jackson Moser, 67, of 922 Lehigh St., died at 8:10 p.m. yesterday
in Easton Hospital. Seriously ill for several weeks, he was hospitalized
Thursday.
Mr. Moser was employed as a miller at the C.K. Williams Co. for mroe
than25 years. He later was a watchman at Binney & Smith, Inc.,
for three years. He was last employed as a guard and custodian at the
Northampton National Bank for 10 years. He retired two years ago.
Mr. Moser was a veteran of World War i. he was seriously wounded while
serving overseas with a machine gun battalion.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Andrew Jackson
Moser and Sarah Moser. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran, Easton;
Easton Chapter 198, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and Brown and
Lynch Post 9, American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, the former, Florence Sterner, and a sister,
mar, wife of Charles Beatty, Easton. A son, Wesley James Moser, was
killed in a plane crash in Louisville, Ky, in 1955 while serving with
the Air Force.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shillinger Funeral
Home, Easton.
