Grace A. Strausser, 60, of 15 Henderson St., Phillipsburg,
died June 11 in her home. She was the wife of the late Lloyd
G. Strausser.
She worked in the accounts payable department of the Phillipsburg
board of education for 28 years before retiring in April. Previously,
she was a teacher's aide for the Phillipsburg School District.
Born in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of Myrtle (Wilhelm)
Miers, who resided with her, and the late Allen R. Miers.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg,
where she served on the church council, was former church treasurer
and was honored as church member of the year in 1997.
She was recording secretary of the Phillipsburg Irish Club
and a member of the auxiliary of Jersey Hose Fire Company,
Phillipsburg.
Survivors: Mother; sons, ; brother, sister, a grandchild;
nieces, nephew.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Friday,
Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg.
