Dorothy I. Parent
Dorothy I. Parent, 75, of Phillipsburg, passed away Monday,
June 9, 2003, in Warren Hospital.
Born: Aug 10, 1927, in Easton, a daughter of the late William
and Ethel Freeman Myers.
Personal: She and her husband, Walter A., celebrated their
56th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 5.
Dorothy has lived in Phillipsburg for the last 10 years.
At one time she was a nurse's aide at Warren Hospital. She
had also worked at the Ritter Coil Co. in Alpha and the Magnetic
Winding Co. in Palmer Township. Dorothy was also a homemaker.
Mrs. Parent was a 1945 graduate of Wilson High School.
Memberships: She was a member of Blessed Hope Church of the
Nazarene in Phillipsburg.
She was a member of the AARP.
Survivors: her husband; a son, ***** of Bath; a sister,
Helen Hodulik of Moorestown; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy's daughter, Linda L.; her son-in-law, Robert J. Lehr;
and a grandson, Jeffrey A. Lehr, all passed away earlier.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday in the Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial
Parkway, Phillipsburg. Call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the
funeral home. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery in Easton.
