Alfred Marsh, 66, State Employee, Was with L&NE 35 Years
Alfred N. Marsh, 66, Pen Argyl, R. D. 1, died yesterday in Easton Hospital where he was a patient for three weeks.
An employee of the Pennsylvania department of Highways for the last 10 years, he previously worked for 35 years for the Lehigh and New England Railroad.
A native of Pen Argyl, he was the son of the late Edward and Harriet Towser Marsh.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his widow, the former Almeda G. Eckert; two sons, Alfred Jr, of Wind Gap and Wallace, at home; three daughters,*****, Wind Gap R. D. 1; Mrs. Paul Shook, Wind Gap, and *****, at home; a sister, Mrs. Queen Strout, Wind Gap, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Altemose Funeral Home, Wind Gap. Interment will be in the Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield Township. |
