Lawrence W. Lowe, 83, of Macungie died Saturday, Feb. 15, in his home. He was the husband of Lydia S. (Schippers) Lowe. They were married 62 years in June.
He was president of Lowe & Moyer Garage Inc., Fogelsville, from 1966 until retiring in 1980, and a partner in W.J. Lowe & Sons Inc., Martins Creek, for 20 years until 1966. He also was a part-time flight instructor at Brandon Airport in New Jersey, Easton Airport and Princeton University.
He attended the Franklin Aeronautical Academy in Nebraska.
Born in Finesville, N.J., he was a son of the late William J. and Lillian (Snyder) Lowe.
He was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown.
He was a flight instructor and lieutenant in the Army during World War II.
Lowe was a member of the Queen City Radio Controlled Aircraft Club.
Survivors: Wife; daughter,*****., wife of ***** of Allentown; brothers, Russell of Easton and ***** in Florida; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday in the church. Call 12:30-1 p.m. Thursday in church. Arrangements, Keller Funeral Home, Fogelsville.
