John Jack F. Lowe, 84,of South Port Square, Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009, after a brief stay at Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
Born: In Easton, PA on September 14, 1924, Jack was a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Deats of Easton, PA.
Personal: He graduated from Easton Area High School and proudly served in the Navy during World War II from 1943 -1946. When the war ended he returned to Easton and married Doris Kutz. He was employed as a Sheet Metal Mechanic by R.S. Hahn & Sons and Henry Schultz & Sons from 1946 until his retirement in 1986. Doris and Jack moved to Florida in 1996.Jack's innovative talents were admired by everyone who knew him. Throughout his illness his distinctive wit and humor prevailed.
Survivors: Jack will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris; his devoted sons, ***** and his wife ***** of Punta Gorda, FL and ***** of Franconia, NH; grand-daughters, *****, *****, ******, and ******; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a beloved daughter Doreen in June 2001, sister, Susan Cibos and a brother Richard.
Services: Inurnment will be at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton, PA at a later date.
