Samuel E. Lippincott, 81, Carepnter for 60 years.

Samuel Edward Lippencott, 81, a carpenter for 60 years, who remained active in his trade in recent years, died of a heart attack on Saturday night while shoveling coal in the cellar of his home in Holland, N.J.

He was born in Holland and had spent all his life within a few miles of that community. He was a son of the late Mr.and Mrs. Andrew Lippincott. His wife, Mary, died in December 1946. Mr. Lippincott was a member of St. John Evangelical Reformed Church, Riegelsville, Pa.

Surviving are a son, Charles A. of Holland; three daughters, Mrs. Howard Yarrow, of Detroit Mich.; Mrs. John C. Price Sr., of Easton, and Mrs. Samuel H. Scott, Jr. at home, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the residence on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Samuel J. Kirk, pastor of St. John Church, officating. Interment will be in Riegelsville cemetery.
