Kenneth M. Laubach, truck driver
Kenneth M. Laubach, 69, of 708 Route 57, Stewartsville, died Monday, December 8, in his home.

He was a truck driver last employed for Preston Trucking Co. in Phillipsburg for 12 years before retiring. He previously was employed by Budd’s Crown Service Station in Still Valley. He also operated a lawn mower repair service from his home.

Born Feb 20, 1928, in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Osmun and Hazel Howell Laubach. He was a resident of the Stewartsville area for the past 15 years.

He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alpha.

He and his wife, th4e former Patricia McNamee, were married 23 years.

In addition t o his wife, he is survived by three sons, *****. in North Carolina, ***** in California and ***** in Stewartsville; a daughter, ***** of High Bridge; two brothers, **** of Harmony and ***** of Phillipsburg; three sisters, Eva Barber of Asbury, N.J. ***** of Easton and *****of Harmony, and seven grandchildren.

Three brothers, Clayton, Lawrence and Thomas, and a sister Grace Fahl, all died earlier.

Services will be held at 8:15 a.m. Thursday from the Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, 535 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m. in the church, Fifth Avenue, Alpha. Call 7 to I p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
