James Laros Sr., Ex-Executive Of Printing Firm
James Andrew Laros, Sr., 83 of 1950 Washington Blvd., died this morning. He was stricken while backing his car out of the garage.
Northampton County Coroner Joseph A. Reichel attributed death to natural causes.
Born in Easton, Jan. 18, 1885, he was a son of the late Alvin and Eliza Keller Laros.
Mr. Laros was production manager of the Laros Printing Co., retiring two years ago.
He was a member of Easton Lodge 152, F&AM; Easton Forest 35, Tall Cedars of Lebanon; Rajah Temple, Reading; Lehigh Consistory, Allentown, and Forks of the Delaware Shrine Club, where he was a past treasurer. He also was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Easton, and was a former elder of the church.
Survivors include his widow, Laura Shey Laros; a son, James A. Jr., Pittsburgh; a brother, Walter, Easton, and two grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton.
