Calvin Kunsman, 63, Cattle Dealer, Farmer
Calvin Kunsman, 63, cattle dealer and farmer, of 1045 Berwick
street, South Side, died on Saturday afternoon at his home.
He was born June 17, 1886, in Williams Township, a son of the
late Stephen and Sabina Unangst Kunsman.
Mr. Kunsman spent all of his working life as a farmer and
dealer in cattle and was especially known throughout the area
of Lehigh, Bucks and Northampton counties. Before moving to
Easton about a year and a half ago, he resided in Williams
and Saucon Townships. He was a member of St. John’s New
Williams Lutheran Church, Williams Township.
Surviving are 12 children. Mrs. Russell Frichert, of Bethlehem
R. D. 4; Mrs. Chester Yeakel, of Hellertown R. D. 1; Stanley,
Paul and Mrs. Theodore Rieger, all of Hellertown; Calvin Jr.,
in New Jersey; Robert of Easton; William and Mrs. Kenneth Warner,
both of Bethlehem R. D.1; Pvt. James, with the Army at Fort
Benning, Ga., and Edward and Dorothy, both at home; a sister,
Mrs. Aaron Hinkel, of Bethlehem R. D. 4; a brother, Floyd,
of Hellertown R.D.1 and 15 grandchildren. |
