Mrs. Anna Kressler Hall, a retired teacher, died this morning
at the Causa Convalescent Home, Easton, where she was a guest
five years.
She formerly resided at 722 Cattell St.
Mrs. Hall taught history 37 years in the Easton School District,
retiring in 1961. Before that she had been music supervisor
of schools in Jeannetta, Pa.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William J.
and Gertrude Bachman Kressler.
She was graduated from Easton High School, class of 1909,
and the University of Pittsburgh.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and the
Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. William Cain, Manchester
N.H. and Mrs. Herman Wolff, Easton, and a brother, John H Kressler,
also of Easton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shillinger
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Raubsville Cemetery. |
