Walter C. Krantz, Owner of Radio, Television Shop
Walter C. Kartz, 54, of 1216 Chidsey St., Easton, died today at 2:30 a.m. at his home. Mr. Krantz who had been in ill health since September, owned and operated Krantz Radio & Television Service, 681 Northampton St.
Born on April 13, 1900, he was a son of the late Jacob H. and Carmella krantz. He was a lifelong redient of Easton. Besides operating the radio and televison business for the last four years, he was employed as an electrician by Lehigh, Inc., where he had wored for eight years. Prior to that he was employed by Bethlehem Steel Co. I his early days he was associated with his brother, William A. Krantz Sr., in the William Penn Garage, Wilson.
Mr. Krantz was a veteran of World War l having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Arndt's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Forks Township, Easton Order of Fleas, the Weston Club and Concordia maennerchor, Easton, and Pioneer Fire Co. No. 9, Allentown.
Surviving, besides his brother, who resides in Wilson, are his widow, the former Florence Wilson; two stepchildren, Mrs. Margaret E. Green, of Palmer Township, and Robert W. Keiper, of Fullerton; another brother, Jacob H., of Apopka, Fla., who also been associatied with the Wilson garage, and four step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
