Mrs. Walter F. Bast, Formerly of Easton
Mrs. Blanche Krantz Bast, of 340 Oneida St., Chadwick, N.Y. formerly of Easton, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at the Genessee Nurning Home, Utica, N.Y. shere she was a guest for the last two weeks.

Mrs. Bast was born in Easton on June 3, 1886, a duaghter oft he late Garibaldi and Catherine Williams Krantz. She was employed as a stenographer for the former Joseph F. Crater's Sons Wholesale Produce Co. before she moved from Easton to Chadwick 38 years ago.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving are her husband, Walter F. Bast; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Krantz, Easton; three brothers, Clark R. and Wlater A. Krantz, both of Easton, and Russell W. Krantz, Cherry Hill, N.J., and one grandson, J.Clark Bast, Utica, N.Y.

Mrs. Bast's two sons, 1st Lt. Henry Borooks Bast and T. Sgt. Clark K. Bast, were killed in Action during World War II.

Funeral arrangments are bing made by the Bender Funeral Home, Easton.
