Stanley H. Knecht, 84, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday in
Gracedale, Nazareth R.1. He was the husband of Viola P. (Getz)
Knecht of Easton.
He worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
for nine years before retiring 22 years ago. Before that, he
was a butcher for several shops in the area.
Born in Moore Township, he was a son of the late Calvin and
Sarah (Nauman) Knecht.
Surviving with his widow are two sons, Daniel and Robert,
and two daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Helen
Bickert of Nazareth and Mrs. Bertha Haldeman of East Lawn;
nine grandchildren and six great-grandchi ldren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bensing Funeral
Home, Moorestown. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Friday. |
