Charles L. Knecht Sr., 68, of Bethlehem, died Thursday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital
Center. He was the husband of Anna Mae (Donchez) Knecht.
He was a foreman in the steel foundry of Bethlehem Steel Corp.
before retiring in 1978 after 38 years of service.
Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary Alice
(Bartholomew) Knecht.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.
Surviving with his widow are two daughters,
a son, and a brother, Frederick C., both of
Bethlehem; six sisters, and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Wallace M. Long
Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will
be 7-9 p.m. Sunday. |
