Erma A. Kressler, 84, of 101 Paxinosa Road West, Forks Township,
formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, April 21, in Persona Care
at Eastwood, Wilson. She was the companion of George Kelchner,
who died last June, and the wife of the late Russell L. Kressler.
She was employed by radio station WEEX, Easton, for 12 years
until retiring in 1994. Previously, she worked for Binney & Smith
Inc., Easton, for several years.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Raymond V.
and Miriam (Unangst) Kindt.
She was a member and former deacon of Memorial United Church
of Christ, Wilson.
Survivors: Daughters, brother Raymond of Whitehouse,
N.J.; sister, Eva Starr of Nazareth; stepson, four grandchildren
and a great-grandchild.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton
streets, Easton. Call 1:30-2 p.m. Friday.
