Robert Kiefer, Insurance Man, Wilson Resident
Robert Franklin Kiefer, 56, of 2402 Forest St., Wilson, died this morning in Easton Hospital where he was admitted yesterday.
Mr. Kiefer was hospitalized with a heart Attack from Feb 26 until March 18. He suffered another heart attack yesterday.
Mr. Kiefer was an agent for the Prudential Insurance Co. for 25 years.
He was employed in the mailing room of the Easton Express from 1926 to 1928 and at one time was an automobile salesman.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Frank and Rosa Moser Kiefer. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1927.
Mr. Kiefer was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson Lions club, Wilson Republican Club, Wilson Borough Civic Association, Easton Forest 35, Tall Cedars of Lebanon; Dallas Lodge 296, F&AM, Easton; Easton Royal Arch Chapter 173, and Life Underwriters Association.
Survivors include his widow, the former Elva E. Tipton, and two sons, ****. and *****, both at home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton. |
