Jacob D. Kiefer
Jacob D. Kiefer died this morning at 7 o'clock at his home on Williams Street, near Seitz Avenue, South Side, of a complication of ailments after a two years illness, aged 52 years and 3 months. Deceased is survived by his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Claude Martin of Easton and Misses Lillian, Helen and Esther at home; also by two brothers, George Kiefer of Bethlehem and Abraham Kiefer of this city.
He was a native of Williams Township and lived in Easton for the past twenty-eight years. He was a molder by trade, but for the past two years he was employed at the Redington fuse plant. Deceased was a member of ST. Paul's Lutheran church, South Side.
The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon with services at the late home at 2 o'clock, followed by services at Hay's chapel, and interment in the adjoining cemetery. |
