Funeral service for Floyd B (Toot) Kiefer, 62, of 320 Frederick Street Easton, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Mr. Kiefer was pronounced dead on arrival at Easton Hospital yesterday afternoon after he was stricken and collapsed in Centre Square.
He had been employed by Treadwell Corp, Palmer township, for the last 25 years.
Born June 29, 1903, in Cedarville, Williams Township, he was a son of the late Abraham H and Emma Yetter Kiefer. He was a lifelong resident of the Easton Area.
He was of the Lutheran faith, He was a member of Washington camp 542, POS of A; Untied Steelworkers of America (AFL-CIO) and the Columbia Hose Co.
Surviving are his widow the former Alta Mae Bond; a brother, Earl V Kiefer, Easton and several nieces and nephews. |
