Mrs. Catherine Gruver
Catherine, widow of the late Michael Gruver, of Palmer Township, died
suddenly yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James
Gross, in Palmer Township, aged eighty years. The deceased is survived
by three sons. Lawrence Gruver of Ohio; Theodore Gruver, of Palmer
township; and Edwin Gruver, of Bethlehem Township, and three daughters,
Sallie Ann, wife of Kabian Walter, of Bethlelehm Township; Sophia,
wife of Edwin Nickum, of Tatamy, and Catherine, wife of James Gross,
with whom she resided. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Valentine
Couch, and a brother, Jackson Kieffer, of Stroudsburg.
The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, services
and interment at Forks Church. |
