Morris E. Kichine, Army master sergeant
Morris E. :Motts" Kichline, 79, of Centre Street, Easton,
died Monday, December 11, in his home.
He retired in 1961 as a master sergeant in the Army after
20 years. He servied in France and Germany from 1944-45, and
in Korea from 1950-51. After retirement he was employed by
Mack Printing in Wilson Borough for 17 years.
Born Jan. 1916, in Easton, he was a son of the late Archie
E. and Bessie I. Knoble Kichline.
He was a 1933 graduate of Easton High School.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in
Easton.
He was a life member of the Order of Fleas and Citizens Hose
Co., both of Easton, and a member of the Association of United
States Army.
Survivors include three brothers, Norman K. of Easton, Charles
W. of Williams Township and John A. of Bushkill Township; a
half sister, Jean Hunt of Phillipsburg; and nieces and nephews.
His stepmmother, Sarah Kichline, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Strunk Funeral
Home 602 W. Berwick St., Easton. Call 10 a.m. to time of services
Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hay's Cemetery
in Easton. |
