Robert M. Kelchner, 74, of 121 W. Fairview St., Bethlehem, died Tuesday in his home after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Herma A. (Werst) Kelchner.
He was a security maintenance guard for Sure-Fit Products Corp., Bethlehem, for 20 years before retiring in 1976.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Floyd and Gertrude Kelchner.
He was a member of Christ UCC, Bethlehem.
Kelchner served in the Navy.
Surviving are a daughter, *****, with whom she resided; a brother Burton of Littleton, Colo., and a sister, Mrs. Edna Werst of Bethlehem.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Snyder-Hinkle Funeral Home, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday. |
