Mrs. May Appleman, 76, of 2503 Jay Lane, Bath, died Friday
in the Northampton Convalescent Center. She was the wife of
Edward G. Appleman. The couple observed its 49th wedding anniversary
in April.
She worked for the former Chipman Knitting Mill, West Easton,
for many years.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Laura
(Roseberry) Jones.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Edward G. Jr. of Lower
Nazareth Township; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Spencer of Huntingdon,
W. Va., and Mrs. Beatrice Schaffer of Atlantic Beach, Fla.;
three grandchildren and a great- grandson.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral
Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. Calling hours will be 7-8:30
p.m. Monday. |
