Samuel Holland
Samuel Holland, 79, years old, a life-long resident of Lower Mt. Bethel Township, a former tax collector of that township, and for about 30 years, road supervisor, died yesterday morning at his home at Martin’s Creek. He was road supersaver at the time of his death and as well know throughout the township. He was a staunch Democrat all his voting life.
He is survived by a son, Lawrence Holland, at home; two grandsons; three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at his home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. L.L Lengel and interment will be in Church Hill cemetery
