Mrs. Ada V. Lane, 69, of Bangor R.3, died Monday in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Lane, who died in 1981.
She was a sales clerk for the
G.C. Murphy Co., formerly of Bangor, until 1960.
Born in Martins Creek, she was a daughter of Elsie (Reed) Holland Drenth of Nazareth R.1 and the late Roland Holland.
Mrs. Lane was a member of Ackermanville United Methodist Church.
Surviving with her mother are a son, Richard A. of Bangor R.3; five daughters, Mrs. Judy Klausz and Mrs. Fae Jones, both of Bangor R.3, Marion, at home, Mrs. Janet Crafa of Bangor and Mrs. Louise LaBar of Bangor R.2; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Kertis of Ellenton, Fla., Mrs. Mary Ponnett of Bangor R.1 and Mrs. Hazel Schubert of Boonton, N.J.; 12 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 314 S. 1st St., Bangor. Calling hours will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
