Mrs. C. M. Hammerstone
Mrs. Dorothy E. Hammerstone, 61, of 475 Russell Ave., Phillipsburg, died Saturday in Warren Hospital.
Her husband, Charles M. Hammerstone Sr. died in 1970. A native of Glendon, she was a daughter of the late Palmer and Elizabeth Miller Hagley. She lived in Phillipsburg most of her life.
Surviving are four sons, Charles W. Jr., Theodore, William and Joseph, all of Phillipsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Cuvo and Laura Hammerstone, both of Easton; two sisters, Mrs. Elvin Hockman, Raubsville, and Mrs. Carrie Ducey, Annandale, 25 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Alpha.
Among the survivors of Mrs. Dorothy E. Hammerstone, 475 Russell Ave., Phillipsburg, widow of Charles Hammerstone, is a stepsister, Mrs. Catherine Fretz, Easton.
