Mrs. Elmer Frey
Mrs. Myrtle C. Frey, 33 E. High St., Nazareth, died Saturday
morning at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, where
she was admitted Feb. 2. She was 79.
Born in Flicksville, she was a daughter of the late Elmer
and Sarah Longenbach Gruver.
She is survived by her husband. Her first husband was the
late Edward Fritz.
Mrs. Frey retired in 1962 after working for 20 years as a
seamstress for the St. Regis Paper company in Nazareth.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mae Bruch, Bethlehem, and
Mrs. ****, Nazareth, three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Eichoff,
Bangor, Mrs. Elsie Bellis, Easton, and Mrs. Eva Hoadley, Arizona,
nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Joseph Gruver, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the
Schmidt mortuary in Nazareth. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery
in Hecktown.

Mrs. Elmer Frey
Mrs. Myrtle Frey, 79, of 22 E. High St., Nazareth, who died
Saturday in St. Luke’s Hospital. Fountain hill, was a
bag sewer at St. Regis Paper Co., Nazareth, before Retiring.
Her first husband, Edward Fritz, died in 1959, and her second
husband, Elmer Frey, also died before her. The was listed incorrectly
in Sunday’s Express.
