A Nathaniel Gruver Dies: Wife in Serious Condition
A Nathaniel Gruver of 911 Union Blvd, died at 1:25 p.m. yesterday, less than an hour after he had been admitted to the Allentown hospital for medical treatment. He was in his 78th Year.

Mr. Gruver’s wife, nee Ellamanda Nonnemacher, 82, suffered a broken leg 13 weeks ago and his since been a patient at the Allentown hospital. Because of her advanced age, her condition remains serious.

Mr. Gruver was born in Hanover township, now a part of the city, son of Abraham and Susan (Fuchs) Gruver. He was a member of the Reformed congregation of Shoenersville church. He was the last of his family.

Besides his wife, there survive five step-children; Milton Heimbach, Emaus; Mrs. Charles Dreas, Irvin Heimbach, Elda Heimbach, all of Allentown, and Mrs. Reuben Lazarus, Allentown, R. 3, Several grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Shoenersville Union Church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
