R. F. Gross Dies At Mauser Mill Job
Robert F. Gross, Walnutport, R. 2, husband of the late Minnie M. (Kuntz) Gross, died Thursday while working at the Mauser Miller, Treichler, He was 62.
Death was due to heart attack, according to George Kametz, Northampton County coroner.
He was employed as a feed packer at the mill the last 48 years.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late James A. and Catherine (Gruver) Gross.
Surviving are a son, Paul, Slatington, R. 1; two daughters, Mary, wife of George Jacoby Sr., Palmerton, and Alma, wife of Troy Handwerk, Slatington brother, Edwin J. Allentown, R. 1; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Morgan Funeral Home, 1002 Main St. Slatington. Viewing will be 7-9 tomorrow. |
