*Illegitimate son of
Mary Ann and Richard McKee.
Mrs. Mary Ann Kester was found dead in bed at her home, corner of
Centre and Nesquehoning streets, this morning. She was about yesterday,
but did not appear this morning, as usual, and a neighbor forced open
a window and found her lying dead on her bed.
The deceased was 73 years old and a resident of South Easton for many
years and is survived by three children; Mrs. Wm Roseberry, of Easton;
and William Kester and Richard McKee of this place.
Evidence in a testimonial by Mary Ann Kester for Rosanna Stocker indicated
she couldn't read and write. She signed her name with an x. Mary testified
that Rosanna Stocker was the mother of Jacob Amandus Stocker who died
shortly after the civil war due to an illness he received. |
