Mrs. Clarence Gary
Mrs. Clarence Gary, 95, formerly of 941 W. Berwick St., died
yesterday morning in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, where
she was admitted Tuesday.
Mrs. Gary was born Feb. 18, 1881, in Easton, a daughter of
the late John and Martha Horton Garis.. She had been a resident
of Gracedale, Nazareth R.D. 1, since September 1965. She was
the widow of Clarence B. Gary who died in May 1958.
She was of the United Church of Christ faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Sliker, Easton; a
sister, Mrs. Grace Bisbing, Easton; a brother, Charles P. Garis,
Easton; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandsons. A son George W. Edinger , and a daughter,
Mrs. Grace Butler, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Strunk
Funeral Home, Easton. |
