Mrs.Clara Major
Mrs. Clara Major, 78 years old, widow of Harry Major, died
last night at her home, 905 Northampton Street, after an illness
of a year. she was confined to her bed for a week. Her husband
died three and one half years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Herbert, of Phillipsburg,
and Mrs. Frank Koplin, of Wilson. She also leaves four grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Major was born in Reigelsville, N.J. a daughter of the
late Jacob and Mary Catharine Frankenfield and had resided
in this city for 40 years. |
