Allen O. Frankenfield
Allen O. Frankenfield, a veteran of the Civil War, died yesterday, at the home of his nephew, Ira Frankenfield, in Allentown, of a complication of ailments, aged 87 years. Deceased was born in Williams Township, this county, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Frankefield, and located in Allentown in 1856. He was a shoemaker by trade. He served in the Civil War in Co. H. 200th PA Volunteers. He is survived by the following children: H. D. Frankenfield, of Allentown; Mrs. Sarah Hillegas, of Chester; Allen O. Frankenfield, Jr, in the south; Mrs. Ellen B. Ott, Mrs. Lillie Bechtel, Mrs. Lizze Youse, Robert E. L. Frankenfield, Mrs. Minnie D. Guth, Mrs Florence Krick, Mrs. Gertie Seiple, Mrs. Charles Lynn, all of Allentown, and Richard Frankenfield, now at Camp Johnson, Fla.
