Levere E. Everitt, Sr.
Levere E. Everitt Sr., 59, of 714 East St. West Easton, died Monday in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

He was employed as an assembler by Victaulic Company of America, West Easton, for the past 40 years.

Born Dec., 7, 1922 in Easton, he was a son of the late William and Jennie Wilhelm Everitt.

Mr. Everitt was a member of the United Steel Workers of America, Local 2064, and served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.

Surviving are his wife, the former Lillian Burns; two sons,two daughters, four brothers, LeRoy, Lester and Lawrence, all of Easton, and William of Phillipsburg, and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
