Ralph A. Ealer, 78, of Williams Township, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Easton Hospital.
Born: May 10, 1933, in Easton, he was a son of the late Ralph N. and Edith M. Frankenfield Ealer. Personal: He and his wife, the former Jane E. Walter, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2011.
Ralph retired in 1990 from Williams Township Road Department, where he worked for 28 years. Years ago he was employed by Helm Brothers. He served with the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Ralph enjoyed hunting and camping.
Memberships: He was a member of Christ Evangelical Congregational Church. Ralph was a life member of Order of the Fleas, Inc. and Williams Township Fire Company, where years ago he was assistant fire chief. He was a member of Lester W. Pfeffer, American Legion Post 611, Wilson Borough; Senior Circle Easton Chapter; Cancer Action Network; and AARP.
Survivors: In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by two daughters, *****, of Williams Township, and *****, of Coplay; a sister, *****, of Williams Township; and four grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick St., Easton. Call Saturday 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Blue Church Cemetery.
