Mrs. Edith G. Schippers Vetter, 89, of Williams Township, died
Tuesday in Easton Hospital. She was the widow of Stewart
Vetter and William R. Schippers Sr.
Born in Glendon, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and
Martha (Watkins) Coken.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, New Williams,
Williams Township.
Survivors: Sons, Harry C., William R. Jr. and ***** Schippers,
all of Williams Township, and ***** of Belleview,
Fla.; daughters, Lydia, wife of Lawrence Lowe of Macungie,
*****, wife of ***** of Easton, and *****, wife of
***** of Williams Township; 23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren
and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a
son, Frank D. Schippers, and a daughter, Bretta Catherine Schippers.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton
streets, Easton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday. |
