Mrs. Percy Davison, I-R Phone Operator
Mrs. Marion E. Davison, 70, of 735 Brookwood Drive South, St.
Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Phillipsburg, died yesterday
at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital where she was admitted Oct.
15.
Her Husband, Percy L. Davison, died in 1970.
Mrs. Davison was the chief telephone operator at Ingersoll-Rand
Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1965.
Born in Phillipsburg on May 24, 1904, she was a daughter of
the late Russell and Jennie Brotzman Clickener. She lived in
St. Petersburg the last year.
She was a member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg;
American Legion Auxiliary 305, St. Petersburg; Pride of Maleska
Council 100, Sons and Daughters of Liberty; Ladies Auxiliary
of the Phillipsburg Elks and the Auxiliary of Veterans of World
War I, Barracks 3464 Phillipsburg.
Survivors include a daughter
and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the Rupell Funeral
Home, Phillipsburg. |
