THOMAS E. CAMPBELL JR.

Thomas E. Campbell Jr., 92, of Palmer Township, died Thursday, May 18, in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Ethel (Beam) Campbell. They were married 70 years in January.

Prior to retiring, he worked at George V. Seiple and Son Co., Inc., Palmer Township, for over 50 years.

Born in Bethlehem Township, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Lilly (Rothrock) Campbell Sr.

He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Farmersville, Northampton County, and had served on consistory and was a member of its Brotherhood. He received the Man of the Year award in 1972 from the church.

He was an air raid warden during World War II.

He was an avid gardener and pinochle player.

Survivors: Wife; sons, Thomas and Howard, both of Palmer Township, Donald of Murrells Inlet, S.C., William of Easton, James of Bethlehem Township, and Frank of Strathaven, Scotland; daughters, Lenora Graver of Wilson, Alice Campbell of Palmer Township, an d Gloria Koehler of Bethlehem Township, 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Services: 12:30 p.m. Saturday, St. John's United Church of Christ, 8065 William Penn Hwy., Bethlehem Township. Call 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Arrangements, Strunk Funeral Home, Wilson.
