Jacob Brotzman
Jacob Brotzman, 75, year old blacksmith and retired employee of the Easton School district, died at 1 p.m. Saturday in Easton Hospital after a short illness.
Bortzman, who lived with his brother-in-law, Raymond Farrow, at 500 Folk St., Easton. lived in the Easton area all his life.
He was born July 10, 1879, in Williams Township, a son of the late Martin Van Buren and Amanda Charles Brotzman.
He learned his trade as an employee of the Lehigh Valley Railroad Co., for which he worked for about 20 years until 1913. Lter he was employed by Hay's Cemetery, Easto, Northampton County and as a maintenance worker by the Easton School District. he retired in 1952.
There are no survivors. In addtion to his brother-in-law, there are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomrorow at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton
