Robert I. Brown, A Department of Agriculture deputy
Dr. Robert I. Brown, 49, of 4000 Croydon Lane, Bowie, Md., died Friday in his home.
He was a veterinarian and served as an assistant deputy to the administrator of the Animal and Plant Division of the U.S. Department of agriculture, Washington, D.C.
He was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, the Pennsylvania State University, State College and the veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Lolita Downin of Bethlehem and the late Merritt W. Brown Sr.
He was a member of Christ United church of Christ, Bethlehem.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two daughters, ***** and *****, both of Laurel, Md.; twin sons, ***** and *****, both at home, and a brother, ***** Easton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Snyder Hinkle Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bethlehem.
