Willard R. Bonstein, 64, of 2450 Woodridge Terrace, Palmer Township, formerly of Easton, died Saturday in Paris, France, after being stricken in the Meridien Hotel. Paris. He was on a tour of Europe.

Before retiring in 1979, he was employed by Pennylvania Liquor Control Board working in liquor stores in the Easton area for more than 30 years. He served as store manager for many years.

Born April 26, 1919, in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late John and Anna Maxwell Bonstein.

Mr. Bonstein was a 1937 graduate of Easton High School. He was a member of First United Church of Christ. Dallas Lodge 396, F&AM, and Forest 25, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, all of Easton; Rajah TEmple, REading, and Lehigh Consistory, Allentown. He was a life member and past president of the Forks of the Delaware Shrine Club. Easton. He was also a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and the Pennsylvania Survivors of the Pearl Harbor Attack.

He and his wife, the former Helen Bango, would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Oct 21.

Survivng in addition to his wife are a brother, ***** of Easton and several nieces and a nephew.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 20 at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Entombment will be in the mausoleum of Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
