Norman R. Beck, 91, of Richlandtown died Wednesday, Oct. 23, in Zohlman Nursing Home, Richlandtown. He was the husband of the late Helen B. (Mease) Beck.
He was assistant vice president of the former Provident National Bank, Quakertown, before retiring in 1970. Previously, he was a cashier for the former Merchants National Bank of Quakertown and a teacher for area schools.
Born in Haycock Township, he was a son of the late John A. and Sally A. (Raub) Beck.
He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Quakertown.
Survivors: Daughter, Starr E., wife of Zane R. Stauffer of Quakertown; brothers, H. Luther of Richlandtown and Wilmer in California; sister, Miriam Ackerman of Quakertown; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown. Call 1-2 p.m. Saturday. |
