Martin G. Beck
Martin G. Beck, 79, of 1509 Washington St., Wilson, died early today in Easton hospital. He was hopitalized Monday. He was in ill health a year.

Mr. Beck resided at the Washington Street address five years. Before that he lived at Minerva Ave., Easton.

Born in Lower Nazareth Towsnhip on Aug, 21, 1883, he was a son of the late Richard and Alfreda Unangst Beck.

Mr. Beck was employed as a maintenance man at Bethlehem Steel Co. for about 15 years. He retired four years ago. He formerly was employed by C. K. Williams Coal Co. as a fireman about 15 years.

He was a member of Jacksoinian Democratic Club and St. Marks United Church of Christ.

Surviviors include his widow, the former Ellen Smith; a son, Martin Jr., Easton; three daughters, Mrs. Miriam Bartholomew and Mrs. Eunice Bibleheimer, both of Easton, and Mrs. Elsie Maurer, Alhambra, Calif. a sister, Mrs. Anna Wagner, Palmerton;a step-brother, Lloyd Koch, Hellertown: eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
