John L. Beam, 71, Phillipsburg, RD 2 died this morning at his home.
Mr. Beam was a farmer. Born in Port Murray, he was a son of the late
John R and Eva Scott Beam.
Survivors include his widow, the former Bertha Hynshaw; three sons,
John, Easton; Andrew; Nazareth RD 1 and Flavel at home; two daughters,
Mrs. William Bischoff, Belvidere RD and Mrs. Ralph Fries, Easton; two
sisters, Mrs. Hiriam Snook, Palmer Township, and Mars. Mary Hummer,
Phillipsburg; a brother Seldon, Easton; 10 Grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the MacFadden Funeral Home,
Belvidere.

Funeral services for John L Beam, who died yesterday at his home, Phillipsburg
R D 2, will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at the MacFadden Funeral Home,
Belvidere.
Mr. Beam was a retired employee of the Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg.
At one time he worked at the former Greyhound Post House, Belvidere.
Before moving to the the Phillipsburg address 14 years ago, he lived
in Forks Township.
He was of Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Evelyn Fries of Easton. A son, Frank
died 15 years ago.
