John K. Beam Sr.
John K. Beam Sr., 62, of West Easton, died April 9 in Easton
Hospital. He was married to Carolyn (Fogel) Beam for 40 years
last April. He was self employed in roofing and aluminum siding
and also worked for the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie III,
Forks Township. Born in Bethlehem Township, he was a son of
the late John Jr. and Malvena S. (Biechy) Beam. He was a life
member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; West Easton Athletic
Association; Safety First Volunteer Fire Company, West Easton;
Avona Volunteer Fire Company, Wilson; and Pioneer Athletic
Association, Franklin Steam Fire Engine Company No. 1, Liberty
Hose Company No. 2, Order of Fleas and Citizen Hose Company,
all of Easton. He was a member of Brown and Lynch American
Legion Post 9 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 45, both of Palmer
Township, East Lawn Fire Company, Wilson Democratic Association,
and Palmer Volunteer Fire Company No. 2, Wilson. Survivors:
Wife; sons, sister, ***** of Easton; 14 grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton
St., Wilson. Call noon to 1 p.m. Monday.
