Melvin E. Altemus, of 24 N. Broad St., Nazareth, died last
night in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, where
he was a patient eight weeks.
Mr. Altemus was employed as a bricklayer by the Penn Dixie
Cement Co.
Born in Saylorsburg, he was a son of the late James and Ellen
Altemus. He lived in Nazareth 45 yers.
He was a member of Nazareth Moravian church and the Independent
Order of Odd Fellows, Nazareth.
Survivors include his widow, the former Mary Shafer; a brother,
Arthur, Allentown, and three nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Knecht
Funeral Home, Nazareth. |
