Lester R. Altemose
Lester R. Altemose, 73, of 1333 Clearfield Road, Bushkill Township,
died Sunday in his home.
He was employed in the first-class department at Metropolitan-Edison
Co., Eston, for 43 years retiring in 1972.
Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Floyd and Mamie
Werkheiser altemose.
Mr. Altemose was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church,
Nazareth, and the Bushkill Township Fire Co.
He and his wife, the former Margaret Byrnes, celebrated their
52nd wedding anniversary May 17, 1982.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Kathleen
Guylai and Mrs. Mary Jan Anthony both of Nazareth, and Patricia
Struss, Northampton, a brother, Ralph of Libertyville, Ill.;
seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
The funeral will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the R. J.
Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth, followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic church, Nazareth.
Interment will be in new Holy Family cemetery, Nazareth. |
